UV-C Disinfection
In the final stage, a UV-C disinfection unit, similar to the UV-C candle you mentioned earlier, is employed. This UV-C stage serves to kill or inactivate any remaining microorganisms, such as bacteria, viruses, and parasites that might have survived the previous filtration stages. UV-C radiation disrupts their DNA, preventing them from reproducing and rendering them harmless. This stage adds an extra layer of safety to the water by ensuring it is microbiologically safe for consumption.
